Sensitivity Control For all sensitivity levels (except the highest), the line must travel the specified distance in the same direction for at least 2 seconds to activate the detector. Any movement in the opposite direction resets the distance counter to zero. This can drastically reduce, or eliminate, any false touches triggered by water or wind movements.

When the bivvy lamp function is selected via the switch located on the back of the case, the lamp will behave as follows: • Touch indication LEDs will operate at lower brightness to compensate for the light emitted by the lamp • The lamp only triggers if three touch detection signals are received in rapid succession to avoid false touches inadvertently turning it on • The lamp gradually increases in intensity to its maximum and stays lit as long as the touch continues. Then it gradually declines within 5 seconds following the extinguishing of the alarm LEDs on the receiver, unless other touch indications are received.
It is recommended to use quality batteries (like Energizer or Duracel) or otherwise the detectors may not function
