The Helix 7 G4 Chirp SS Humminbird has received the Pecheur Awards Navigation 2023 for the 7 inch sounder for fishing in rivers, streams or dam lakes.

The new HELIX 7G4 series offers increased visibility with an HD screen of 1024x600 Pixels. Coupled with MEGA IMAGING technology, the HELIX G4 offers an unprecedented level of clarity in reading the bottom structure and fish detection.

The AutoChart Live software is pre-loaded to give users the ability to create detailed bathymetric mapping of the bottom. This feature now allows for the display of bathymetry, vegetation variations and bottom hardness. The maps are created live on the screen as you survey.

It is compatible with Humminbird LakeMaster / CoastMaster cards as well as Navionics cards.

SIDE Imaging: See the underwater world as you've never seen it before with crystal clear vision, at a distance of 40 meters on each side of the boat. You'll discover new details with up to 3 times the accuracy of the standard Down Imaging sounder.

Down Imaging: Get unprecedented underwater clarity with coverage up to 40 meters under your boat.

Dual Spectrum CHIRP: Dual Spectrum offers two search methods: wide mode for maximum coverage and narrow mode for maximum detail.

AutoChart Live: Create real-time maps of your fishing sites. Plot depth contours, bottom hardness and vegetation as you drive your boat, with eight hours of built-in recording time.

Power Supply Tips:
A minimum 12v for 12Amp lead battery is recommended for good autonomy. The ends of the wires at the end of the sounder power cable are bare, and it is necessary to adapt and get lugs (not provided with the sounder) to connect it to the battery.

Probe installation advice:
A Seanox Inox Slide For Probe, reference 410030, 410050 and or 410080 allows you to properly position your probe on the back table of your boat and protect it during launches. Thus, you ensure the protection of your probe when you bring your boat up on its trailer or approach shallow areas such as a beach and or a launch ramp. You will be able to precisely adjust the height of the probe so that it provides the best image rendering on your sounder while fishing.

Three versions are available for this probe holder slide in 30cm/50cm and 80cm to fit the height of your stern.
