This is a world first as never before has a touch detector been fitted with so many advanced and revolutionary features. Adopting the initial concept and technical characteristics of the r3, the emblematic market leader. The r4 reaches exceptional performance levels, significantly improving your results as never before. The r4 allows an even more intelligent detection.
In practice, the R4 will signal any sign of activity of a carp playing with your rig in any environment. Numerous settings are available and even when the tips of your rods are blocked by an accumulation of drifting grasses or violent waves, the R4 will always signal everything that should be. Never before has a detector been able to distinguish a real from a false touch.
Roller Wheel Sensing The factory setting of the R4 is based on detecting line movements via the detector's roller. The Speed Sensing technology is very useful for the slightest line movements during winter fishing or obstacle fishing in tight brake mode.
Speed Sensing Two speed detection levels respond to a line movement acceleration of 1 cm and 2 cm per second in order to eliminate false touches. Both settings are also equipped with the innovative Drift Sensing Safeguard technology.
Wave Sensing The Wave Sensing technology applies to two detection parameters, in order to eliminate false touches caused by waves or during boat fishing. The touch detection is triggered by a movement faster than 1 cm or 2 cm per second and after 15 or 30 cm of line movement forward or backward. Both detection parameters are also equipped with the innovative Drift Sensing Safeguard technology.
Drift Sensing Safeguard Another great technological first is the Drift Sensing Safeguard which eliminates false touches when there is an accumulation of drifting grasses on the line. This technology complements other technologies and in particular the Speed Sensing system for optimized detection.
Guiding Light The Homecoming Mode is one of the main assets of R4 - specifically designed for boat fishermen, an LED located behind the detector, once lit, creates a glowing reference point for returning to your spot after a fight or setting up a rig in the middle of the night with a boat.
Night Glo To complete the launch of the revolutionary detector that is the R4, the new range of Night Glo light indicators connects directly to the bodies of R4 through the dedicated output via a "Night Glo Bobbin" or "Swing Arm" head. The indicator heads are coordinated with the LED colors of the R4 detectors with an additional option for black heads with a white LED glow.
Drop Back Sensing All of the R4's sensitivity parameters are equipped with an alert for drop back touches, with a decreasing tone.
