The paddle tail provides the lure with an amazing lively and jerky action along with a rattle that will drive predatory fish wild! The curl tail can be fished very slowly, leaving the front part of the lure very stable and the tail with a seductive and provocative action. A deadly combination on big, often cautious pikes! When the tail is turned downwards, the lure's head tends to dive, thus resisting the line that pulls it upwards: the lure will swim more or less always at the same depth. Now turn the tail upwards, the eel rises to the surface and runs just underneath it creating a super wake (waikbaiting) effect! An innovative system allows the rear hook to detach from the lure body when a fish strikes, and as the device is mounted on an integrated swivel, fish have a hard time rolling over the lure and using its weight to tear off the hooks. This ingenious system also protects the soft part of the lure, which remains far from the teeth!
