Description: 3 LEVELS OF SENSITIVITY The Axion 2 thermal imaging device utilises a new approach to image optimisation that depends on the targets and observing conditions. It delivers high-quality display of target objects and background. The three levels of signal amplification combined with a smoothing filter and precise brightness and contrast settings offer the hunter excellent opportunities for long-distance detection of wildlife under varying temperature and pressure conditions, and determine trophy qualities.
STRENGTHENED STRUCTURE IN HIGH-QUALITY REINFORCED MAGNESIUM ALLOY The Axion 2 is designed for constant and often challenging use. It consists of a housing made of a magnesium alloy that is both light and robust. The case reliably protects the internal components against impacts, falls, humidity, heat or cold. At the same time, a metal case effectively dissipates heat from the electronics, minimises image noise and increases the consistency of device operation during long-term observations.
HIGHLY SENSITIVE LYNRED SENSOR, MADE IN EUROPE Axion 2 thermal monoculars are equipped with European Lynred sensors with a resolution of 384x288 pixels (pixel size 17 µm) / 640x488 pixels (pixel size 12 µm), which qualitatively capture a useful signal under difficult observational conditions, such as rain, fog, and high atmospheric humidity at the observation site.
FAST APERTURE F35/1.0 LENS The F35/1.0 germanium lens is characterised by high infrared transmission in the LWIR range. Thanks to the high-precision manufacture of the lens's optical elements, the image generated by the Axion 2 thermal imaging device sensor stands out for its clarity and detail.
EXTENDED BATTERY LIFE. UP TO 11H OF AUTONOMY IN 1 SINGLE CHARGE A large capacity rechargeable APS5 battery ensures, depending on the model, up to 11 hours of continuous operation of the thermal imaging device on a single charge. The battery is removed from the case and replaced by a new one in a few seconds. The battery is charged in a special charger or inside the device from a PC, a domestic power supply or a power bank via USB-C. The same sources are used for the external power supply of a thermal imaging device.
IMPROVED WiFi CONNECTIVITY WITH SUPPORT FOR 2.4 Ghz / 5 Ghz BANDS In Axion 2 thermal imagers, the standard range of smartphone connection frequencies via a 2.4 GHz WiFi channel is complemented by an efficient 5 GHz range. The 5 GHz connection offers better bandwidth, faster data transfer rate, noise immunity, and better connection stability, allowing more productive and easier use of the thermal imager with a smartphone.
DETECTION RANGE UP TO 1750 METERS A powerful F35/1.0 lens in conjunction with highly sensitive thermal sensors offer outstanding detection capabilities. A standard 1.8 m high object can be detected up to 1,750 m away in total darkness.
COMPACT DIMENSIONS AND FEATHERWEIGHT The Axion 2 has a compact, space-saving design, is small in size, and weighs only 300 grams. The device is easy to handle and use by both right-handed and left-handed users thanks to its symmetrical design and inline button layout on the top panel.
MORE FEATURES Variable magnification - The digital zoom allows better focus and overall recognition of objects at significant distances. The zoom varies either incrementally in steps of 2, or continuously for optimal and customised field of view according to the situation.
