For optimal configuration of your HUMMINBIRD Sonar GPS combos compatible with HELIX G3N, HELIX G4N, SOLIX and APEX series, this MEGA LIVE Sonar pack and removable 360° PIKE ‘N BASS sonar pole in short 1m version reference 410169 is the ultimate solution for real-time images.
Ethernet connection via Ethernet adapter cable reference AS-ECQDE on HELIX G3N/HELIX G4N series only. Software version 2.660 minimum mandatory on HELIX G3N and G4N series.
Direct connection via Ethernet on /SOLIX and APEX series. Software version 4.020 minimum mandatory on SOLIX and APEX series.
The MEGA LIVE HUMMINBIRD sonar gives you real-time images on 3 views Forward, Down and Landscape and thus complements the technologies of your sonar. It is therefore essential to use the removable 360° Pike'N Bass sonar pole Made in FRANCE that installs easily on all types of boats thanks to the standard pedestal and multiple adjustments. Composed of anodized aluminium and stainless steel tubes, it adapts to all boat decks of polyester, aluminium, wood or polyethylene. Optional brass inserts 247316, 247306 and stainless steel 247406 AMIAUD facilitate installation. It allows quick deployment of your sonar and 360° orientation to optimize the view on your screen under all circumstances. It folds easily into the horizontal position to allow you to leave your full setup securely on your boat during high-speed navigation and also on the road during your travels.
Power supply tips : The MEGA LIVE sonar must be powered in 12v in addition to your sonar. You need to have enough Amperes power on your 12V battery for good autonomy over an entire day.
It is recommended to install a switch on the power supply of your MEGA LIVE sonar to be able to cut it off during travel on the water.
Tips for installing the MEGA LIVE sonar on the removable sonar pole : Installation of the sonar pole is usually on the starboard side and next to the helm so that you can adjust the orientation of your sonar while seated at the console of your boat and be able to enjoy a full view if you are two fishermen in vertical fishing mode.
For navigation on a thermal motor and at high speed, you need to fold your pole into the horizontal position to avoid any risk of damage and thus protect your sonar.
