The Shadow Raps have a "Minnow" on the verge of dying action. This complements those of the "Injured Minnow" and "Escaping Minnow" already known and reputed in the Rapala range. These three actions perfectly mimic the moments when fish are most vulnerable, and are therefore an easy target for predators.
The action of a "Minnow" on the verge of dying is simple: a "twitch" skews the lure to the side which will then turn around facing its adversary head down and fall fluttering like a real dying fish. Unlike other "Jerkbaits", the Shadow Rap turns almost 180° when it is "twitched" on a non-tight line, and remains in the scouting area where it will slowly sink while vibrating.

Ideal for slow action, this lure mimics an injured "Minnow" and is intended for deeper waters than the Shadow Rap. When reeled in with rod tips, a very marked roll will trigger. Animated with fast "Twitchs" on a non-tight line, the Shadow Rap turns almost 180 degrees before slowly sinking wobbling like a dying fish.
