After its LT and LT ARK versions, the Certate now comes in a SW (Salt Water) version. The Certate is a reel highly appreciated by sea anglers and is now a reference in terms of compact, powerful and robust spinning reels. With the arrival of the Certate SW available from size 8000 to 18000, the Certate family is now a complete range that we offer to fans of sea fishing from bass to tuna.

Power and robustness
As a worthy successor to the Catalina, the Certate SW is equipped with the Monocoque body, just like the Saltiga 20. This single-piece aluminum-machined structure gives the Certate SW strength and great robustness. The Monocoque Body also allows the reel to be equipped with a wide Tough Digigear control wheel, with a large number of teeth for a significant gain in power. Another feature in common with the Saltiga 20: the ATD (Automatic Tournament Drag) drag ratchet is very noisy to allow the angler to adjust the button with precision, not to mention the increase in fishing pleasure. Sensations guaranteed!

Light and fluid
Thanks to its ZAION carbon Air Rotor, the reel's rotation is more fluid and lighter: a real comfort gain for fans of strong fishing. A Magsealed bearing in the pick-up roller and the Magsealed oil around the reel's main axis improve the Certate SW's water resistance against corrosive salt elements. On retrieval, the rotation comfort is unique. In the fight, the roller provides perfect fluidity so as not to disturb the progressivity of the ATD drag.

Combat handles
Fast ratio models (H and XH models) are equipped with an oval handle that is soft to the touch and has a great grip to calmly and comfortably handle fights against the biggest specimens. Slow ratio models (P models) are equipped with a round EVA handle, particularly suitable for vertical fishing.

The Certate SW therefore positions itself as a perfect compromise between the Saltiga 20 and the Certate LT 19. It is a front drag reel designed for active and quick casting fishing. Perfect for targeting tunas on our coasts and for the exotic fishing of powerful fish: tunas, jacks, etc.
